I designed "Vela" to be a versatile light source that can be used as a pendant, wall, or floor light. My ultimate goal was to create something both functional and visually striking, exploring the interplay between light and shadow.

What does "Vela" Mean?
The name "Vela" was chosen intentionally — it means "sail" in Spanish, evoking a sense of calm and fluidity. The design symbolises the way light can embrace and transform disruptions in life, providing a sense of balance. "Vela" serves as a gentle reminder to live joyfully and to approach life with a stoic mindset, finding peace even in moments of uncertainty.
